Internal Competitions 2011-2012
This competition is designed to challenge film makers to make a film of exactly 60 seconds duration
The winner of this competition needs to show a high level of creativity and a mastery of editing techniques
This competition is held for those members who like to make films without not necessaily using a camcorder to take the footage.
Slideshows, animations and digital presentations are examples of entries that could be entered into this competition

This competition is held to choose the best holiday film
As it can be more difficult to film on holiday high quality photography and editing are important here.
This is South Essex FIlm Makers premiere film competition. It is often judged by external judges..
The technical quality of the the winning film in this competition is usually of the highest calibre.

Throughout the season members get the opportunity to pit their film making ability against their colleagues in a range of internal competitions. As an affiliated member of IAC, SEFM are also eligible to enter external competitions run by the North Thames Region.
In the recent past the club has had a degree of success including a hatrick of wins in the prestigious Triangle.
